Our Dentists

New-Glen+Chabaylo-1920w

Dr. Glen Chabaylo, DDS

Being a general dentist embodies my core values of honesty, integrity, and treating others as I would like to be treated. I am privileged to care for those in my community, people I have come to know as friends and consider a part of my extended family. As each patient I meet is different, so are their dental needs. Whether I am performing restorative work to improve a patient’s oral health or creating an aesthetically pleasing smile, the required attention to detail is what really clicks with my personality and one of the main reasons I joined the health care field.

Education and experience

My formal education in dentistry occurred at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. I still enjoy learning 35 years later as much as I did back then. I am an active member of:

  1. Canadian Dental Association
  2. Alberta Dental Association and College

My team

On a daily basis, I work with outstanding personalities I am proud to call my team, starting with my associates Dr. Nenkov, Dr. Wyzykoski, and Dr. Engel, and the rest of our support staff. Between all of us, we hope to cater to the various schedules our patients have, as well as their unique personalities. The support team, without whom I could not operate, is an exceptional mix of professionals who not only relish their work, but really enjoy each other. With wonderful personalities working in a harmonious environment, coming to “work” doesn’t seem like “work.”

New-Scott+Wyzykoski-1920w

Dr. Scott Wyzykoski, DDS

I live my life by and have based my dental philosophy on the Golden Rule: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” Having this attitude towards others has allowed me to be blessed with a great career and wonderful people to work with every day. My clinical values are focused on preventive dentistry in order to help my patients have healthy smiles. When restorations are needed, I believe in conservative treatments that are fully customized to meet each patient’s needs.

Education and experience

I earned both my BSC and Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Alberta. I am a member of:

  1. Canadian Dental Association
  2. Alberta Dental Association and College

Outside the office

Originally from Eckville, Alberta, I have lived in Sylvan Lake for six years with my wife, Julie. I am fortunate to have my parents Frank and Bernadette still living in the Eckville area. Julie and I each have a brother and sister; all four are married, giving us a total of seven nieces and nephews. My free time is usually spent following all sports, playing music, and training horses. It is a true pleasure to live the Western way of life.
My dedication to the community extends beyond the dental office. I volunteer for Dental Outreach of Red Deer, Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and Camp Quality, and I organize a New Year’s Eve party in Calgary with all proceeds going towards MSF (Doctors without Borders).

Patrick Felt, Denturist

Patrick graduated from NAIT in 1986, received his permit to practice in 1989. Soon after he purchased his first practice in Hinton, Alberta where he and his wife Suzanne resided for ten years. Wanting to be more central they sold the practice in Hinton and bought the office in Rocky Mountain House; where he currently resides with his wife and two sons.

Patrick has always strived to provide his patients with the most up to date materials and treatment options that are available. Patrick believes that one of the most successful and up to date treatments is dental implants. For the last fifteen years Patrick has been providing implant retained dentures and has recently been one of the few Alberta Denturists accredited to provide “All-On-Four” implant retained dentures.

He is a member in good standing with the College of Alberta Denturists and the Alberta Association of Denturists. In 2010 received “The Order of Merit”, which is an award selected by his colleagues across Alberta. Throughout the years Patrick has served on several boards in his profession including Vice President and President of the College of Alberta Denturists and co-chari of Accreditation Committee of the National Association of Denturist.

Patrick and his family are very involved in the community and look forward to serving his patients in the best way possible.
